This is my very first blog post. Hello, vast interweb of possible viewers. Welcome to Procrastinate in Peace, my personal website of music, news, photography, and completely random things I want to rant about. Truthfully it may not be seen by anyone's eyes except my own and my sea of fans' (Mom and Dad), but I'm keeping some goals in mind.
1) to have something more productive to do with my procrastination time than browse Facebook and Twitter. 2) to further my experience in strategic communications journalism; perhaps influence others with my work. 3) to practice writing with an audience in mind – a significant skill especially for my future career path. 4) to show off my photography in an organized manner – why not? 5) to possibly entertain people or inform them of what’s going on in the world through my blog. 6) to put down and organize my everyday thoughts and actions through multimedia journalism – a more professional, educational way of keeping a diary so to speak. 7) to have something cool to tack on my resume. So let’s get started. I’m thinking I’ll have a few different pages. The main page will be a blog – containing personal editorials about news, current events or controversial debates, my personal life, things I’ve discovered on the internet or whatever. In addition to that I’ll have a page for photography, maybe organized into different albums or galleries for different topics, and then I’ll have a page for recent music that I’ve found or just playlists of stuff that I like. And of course I’ll include a simple ‘about me’ page. Other than that I don’t know. This is just what the kids are doin’ these days so here goes nothing.
